The success of Jay-Kola led to James opening a string of small shops along NE 4 including the Jewel Theater.JFK’s commitment to community and black owned businesses continues as new housing and business developments continue to grow. The neighborhood's parks and recreational spaces provide ample opportunities for residents to enjoy outdoor activities and create lasting memories with their families.
